Seriously, the stuff you can do with CSS3 is incredible. Check out some of the examples on James Long's site - He has some amazing examples of Rendering 3D objects by simply using CSS3 and manipulating the DOM.
A highly recommended site for people to get to grips with development seems to be W3Schools. I was a good site ... back in the day! But is now riddled with old techniques and inaccuracies. W3Fools breaks down all of the inaccuracies and works to educate us on what is really correct
A colleague of mine and a very talented developer - Paul Bain has created some great plugins for WordPress, and a very popular app for the iPhone, named BeerMap. He is a great source of information, and is definately worth checking out if you have some time
Badass JavaScript is a greate website, showcasing how JavaScript can be used, if integrated correctly, with the new HTML tags. It's a great site to check out for advancements in new frameworks, methods and technologies.
CSS3 Please! is a cross browser rule generator for CSS3. It is a great way to see how the new CSS3 rules affect elements, and what rules we have to add to get them to work in all browsers.
jQuery.Syntax is a lightweight syntax highlighter for many different languages, including C, C++, Obj-C, CSS, HTML, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Pascal, SQL etc. Only loading the files it needs means that this plugin is very fast.
